On the defensive end, the home team really got after it only conceding four points the entire quarter. The lead at now rocketed to 52-18.

The final quarter saw the Topcats pile on the points in a variety of ways with their highest scoring quarter showing the depth and stamina of the team. Thunder started to also find some range fighting to the end but it was never going to be enough where the Lady Topcats ran out comfortable winners 73-31.

Fatumah Lwazi was the top scorer with 17 points in limited minutes, with co-captain Josephine Maignomo one rebound shy of a double double recording 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals.
