Luol - UK flagLUOL DENG (NBA Player)

Former Topcat at the young age of 12, Deng featured in the senior men’s team being pushed everyday to play against better competition. This set up the amazing story that has made Luol become an NBA superstar at the Chicago Bulls and a x2 All-Star. Now some 15 years on, Luol still holds the club close to his heart where his UK charity have recently partnered with the Topcats to help drive the sport forward together in South London.

Former Lady Topcat, Marsha was one of the most promising female basketball players in the UK alongside her brother Marvin. She decided to put her focus to music where she has been touring, writing and producing mixtapes like 2007’s Neo Soul is Dead, 2008’s Yours Truly and 2010’s Yours Sincerely. She also appeared as a featured artist on projects from Patti Labelle, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Jamie Foxx and Earth, Wind & Fire, among others.

Andrea is the only female basketball player from the UK to ever play in the WNBA for teams in Charlotte and Orlando. She is an amazing role model for young female players here in the UK and has now taking her skill set and knowledge to coaching up in Nottingham.

Born in Nigeria, Adegboye moved to London at the age of three, where he played for the Topcats as a junior before moving to the US to attend University. He has gone from strength to strength featuring in the GB national team from 2010 where he competed in the London 2012 Olympics. Ogo currently plays for APOEL in Cyprus.





ERIC BOATENG (Professional Basketball Player)

Another product of the Topcats junior program, Boateng also went via the US to attend both Duke University and Arizona State. Another Team GB representative at the London 2012 Olympics, Boateng is now working to get into the NBA to join fellow Topcat, Luol Deng. Eric currently plays for the NY Phantoms in Germany.




Robinson---08.02.10JUSTIN ROBINSON (Professional Basketball Player)

Robinson played for the Brixton Topcats as a junior and was a main player in the mens team before moving to the United States to attended high school at the Blair Academy. As a junior he would lead Blair to a Mid-Atlantic Prep League title and was named to the All-MAPL first team. Justin currently is back with the GB squad and plays for Uppsala Basket in Sweden.




MATTHEW BRYAN-AMANING (Professional Basketball Player)

Bryan-Amaning was another stand out Topcat junior who played four season for the University of Washington Huskies, during the 2010–11 season he averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds. He is now tip toeing the line of being in the NBA and is a major talent currently playing for Anyang KGC in Korea.

Ronnie is a household name and legend of the Brixton Topcats program. Arguably the best point guard to ever play in the UK, Baker is the most capped England International with over 150 caps. Baker’s twin brother Stedroy is also a product of the Topcats who has been a force in the UK as a top point guard. Ronnie gives back to the club by coaching at the grass root development sessions passing his knowledge and skill set onto the next generation.
